EYUC 2019: Everything you need to know

It’s finally happening! EYUC 2019 starts in just a few hours. We’ve decided to make things easier and more enjoyable for you. That’s why we’ve prepared this all-in-one information pack with all the things you need to know.

The Opening Day

The opening day of EYUC is going to be quite eventful! Firstly, there’s a formal part ahead of your representatives with player registration from 9 am to 12 pm at the EYUC Office.

The fun part starts at 1 pm when the Food Truck Zone opens. Make sure to stop for something tasty. There will be a freestyle and disc golf show to entertain you.

At 2.10 pm the Olympic Stadium gate will open. The ceremony, which will officially open the event is scheduled for 2.30 pm. The game that we’re all going to watch will have Czech Republic going up against the hosts – Poland U20 Men’s. The game is also scheduled to broadcast on Fanseat.com.

The end of the games is scheduled for 5 pm, so you’ll have still plenty of time to check out what’s waiting for you at the tournament’s location.

The EYUC City

At such big events, there are so many things going on and so little time to get your head around it. Make sure to get to know the map of EYUC City. It has plenty to offer if you’ve got some time to spare between the games.

There’re 15 high-quality fields where you’ll get to play ultimate for the next few days. In your spare time, we encourage you to visit the EYUC Center. You’ll find there the tournament office and some fun stuff. 🙂

Most importantly it’s where you’ll find the Chill Out Zone. It’s the best place to gather back your strength after a challenging game. You’ll also find food truck stands in here to restore your energy. You can also visit a physio in EYUC City, who can help you get back into your 100% strength game mode!

Apart from that make sure to check out the Luckygrass, Tokay and Eurodisc stands for some ultimate merchandise. Make sure to bring some souvenirs home to remember EYUC!

If the weather is too much to handle visit the local Aqua Park for some entertainment. Act fast – there’re only 200 tickets with 50% discount. You can ask for them in the office.

Transportation

In your free time make sure to go sightseeing. Wroclaw has a lot to offer. During registration, you’ll receive a special pass. From 10 to 17 August you will be able to use public transport for free.

However, there is still a better way to explore the city – bikes! 

You can rent tandem bikes for the whole team for 350€ for 3h at Rowerownia. It’s close to the fields. Just make sure to let them know two days before for the booking!
